Yoga and gear at Gogo Guru on Main Street
There is a new shop, in Historic Ellicott City, ready and waiting to help you get your yoga on. Gogo Guru, located on Main Street between the old post office and Tersiguel’s specializes in 
yoga apparel and gear. They carry bags, blocks and mats – everything you need for your studio or home practice. The Yoga lines are suitable for any fitness activity that requires breathable clothing that moves and stretches when you do.
But it doesn’t stop there: Gogo Guru carries street clothing constructed with the same super comfortable fabrics and fit but made for wearing out of the studio. The local is a great place to shop for easy styles to flatter most body types. I found clever tee shirts of soft luxury cotton and tunics for under leggings. There was a also a cache of swingy skirts to dress up or dress down.
What I love most about Gogo Guru is their commitment to supporting other small business in Howard County. Their studio line is manufactured locally right in Howard County. They feature jewelry made by Fran Mueller of Ellicott City and clothing designed by Nikki Gordon of Columbia.
Upstairs from the shop is an open airy yoga studio. Classes are offered throughout the day on a pay per class basis. Discount passes are available. Some of the classes featured are Yoga for Beginners, Baby and Me Yoga and Kids Yoga. Or sign up for one of their workshops in Ballywood Dance or Mediation.
