Everyone knows HCCC offers degree track courses for credit but it also offers more than 500 non-credit classes for continuing education or personal enrichment. Skim their on-line courses and you’ll find enrichment classes in everything from Bollywood dance to motor cycle safety.
Ever wonder what your pet is thinking? HCCC continuing education offers Petspeak: What Your Animals Really Want You to Know. Pets speak is a one evening class taught by animal communicator Terri Diene. You’ll learn to interpret your pets behavior and understand what your pet is thinking and feeling.
Have you been researching your genealogy for a while but just can’t get past a certain point. Genealogy: An Advanced Course will help you get past those last few hurtles. Learn to decipher old handwriting, interpret old records and document your research.
Employers can arrange for group class to teach their entire staff a new skill. Or individuals can prepare for a new career in real estate, opening their own ebay or etsy store, or get their CDL license. Classes are offered at a variety of locations and times through the county. Find one close to home or explore a new area of the county. And for seniors some of the classes are free or discounted so there is no excuse not to go learn something new.

Being in Real Estate I am required to take a number of classes to keep current with new laws, and trends that effect the industry. It keeps me at the top of my game so that I can do my best for my clients but even if I weren’t in an industry that required me to take classes I would always search out interesting classes for the pure joy of learning.
