Visit Lake Elkhorn in Columbia, Maryland
This 37 acre lake was built by the Columbia Association in 1974
with a watershed of about 2500 acres. The lake is 15 feet at its deepest and averages about 8 feet. The path around is 2 miles. Lake Elkhorn Park is a 23-acre park surrounding the lake. The lake is located on Brokenland Parkway just north of Rt. 32 and Snowden River Parkway. It is located between Rt. 95 and Rt. 29 not far from the Columbia Mall.
The lake is stocked in the Spring with trout & bass. A pavilion for picnicking
