Not Your Parent’s DUMP
I love the Howard County Dump.
I know that sounds strange but it’s not the dump of yesterday when you would bring everything and anything and throw it into the ground so it could be covered up with dirt.
During a recent sale, I assisted the seller in hulling items to the dump she left in the house (not knowing what to do with them). She kept asking…”are you sure they will take this stuff?”
The Howard County Dump is really more like a recycling center than a DUMP. In addition, to accepting TV’s. old Computer monitor’s/printers, motor oil, foam, clothing, batteries, used cooking oil, cell phone, tires, air conditioners and appliances, they also will accept used building material (see Loading Dock below) with many companies coming right to your home so you don’t have to lug them.
