Free Summer Concerts in Howard County
Image a picnic dinner by a shining lake watching sunset behind the trees. There are few better ways to spend a summer evening unless you add a little music to the scenario. Starting June 25 Howard County’s Summer Sunset Serenades will be held at Centennial Park. The concerts are free.
Pack your own picnic dinner or buy your refreshments on site. If sitting on a lawn chair or a blanket isn’t for you get some activity in by renting a paddle boat or kayak and listen while floating on the lake. Boat rentals will be available during the events for cash. And while you are enjoying watching the sunset to music do a little good for someone else. The Community Action Council will there to collect non-perishable food for the Howard County Food Bank. The collections will take place at both the Sunset Serenades and the Traveling Band Concerts.
