Household Tips To Save You Time and Money
As many are returning to back-to-school and other routines, the season of September is a great time to refocus on our homes. Here are some quick and easy housekeeping tips to save you time and money.
- Whip up an EASY-TO-MAKE ALL-PURPOSE CLEANER to have on hand to easily replenish and use on a moment’s notice. Simply mix 4 tablespoons of baking soda with 4 cups of warm water in a spray bottle. Spray it on a rag to make any household surface shine!
- Have you noticed some marker and other stains on some of your wood surfaces? BRING OUT THE TOOTHPASTE, RUB GENTLY AND WIPE AWAY! And for those marks that inevitably appear on our walls and cabinets, try sprinkling A LITTLE BAKING SODA on a damp sponge and scrub gently.
- Are you nagged by the dirt build-up on your PATIO AND OUTDOOR FURNITURE? Wipe down the furniture with a squirt of dishwashing liquid in a bucket of warm water, and hose down afterwards.
- Keep a HANDY, NATURAL WINDOW CLEANER on hand to let the light in and your enhance your beautiful view out. Just mix 2 tablespoons of vinegar to a gallon of water. Pour in a spray bottle to keep handy for those big and little cleanings. Using a microfiber cloth works really well too.
You’ll be amazed at how a little bit will go a long way in enhancing your home!
